Questions

What is REPLAY?

Your own streaming service for the movies and TV shows you already have, on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV and Apple Vision Pro, with Apple Watch as the remote: posters, Continue Watching, Up Next, your Top 10 and picks made for you. Home videos work beautifully too.

Are my videos uploaded?

No. Your videos stay where they already live: Photos, the Files app, your own OneDrive or Dropbox, or a computer at home. Your library and progress sync through your own iCloud. REPLAY has no accounts, no ads and no tracking, and we never see your videos.

Which devices does REPLAY work on?

iPhone and iPad with iOS 26 or iPadOS 26, Macs with Apple silicon on macOS 26, Apple TV with tvOS 26, and Apple Vision Pro with visionOS 26, or later, plus REPLAY on Apple Watch alongside your iPhone. Sign in to the same Apple Account and your library, progress and REPLAY Pro follow you to each one. You don’t need an Apple TV: REPLAY is complete on any of them.

How do I add videos?

Tap + on Home and choose where they are: Photos, the Files app, OneDrive, Dropbox, a shared folder on a Mac, PC or NAS, or a WebDAV server. Pick videos or a whole folder, and REPLAY sorts them. From Photos you can also tap Share, then REPLAY.

Which videos work?

Almost any: MP4, MOV and M4V, plus MKV, AVI, WMV, WebM, MPG, VOB and more, which REPLAY rewraps live on your device. Shows are recognised from file and folder names like S01E02. Protected (DRM) videos aren’t supported.

Where do posters and episode details come from?

TV show artwork and episode details come from TVmaze, and movie descriptions from Wikipedia. For movies, REPLAY uses the artwork inside the movie file when there is some, or designs a poster from the film’s best scene. You can use any image you like instead.

How does Suggested for You work?

REPLAY learns from what you watch, rewatch and favourite, and suggests titles from your own library that match your taste. It all happens on your device: nothing about what you watch leaves it.

How do profiles work?

Everyone in the house shares one library, and each profile gets its own Continue Watching, Top 10, Suggested for You and ratings. Add a second profile in Settings › Profiles and REPLAY asks Who’s watching? on Apple TV and iPad. On iPhone, tap the avatar at the top of Home.

Can I make a profile for my kids?

Yes. A Kids profile only sees the titles you’ve marked OK for Kids, and it can’t edit, remove or reorder anything, or switch profiles.

Does REPLAY work on Apple Watch?

Yes. REPLAY on Apple Watch shows your Continue Watching with artwork. Pick a title and an Apple TV with REPLAY open, and the watch becomes the remote. It’s included with REPLAY Pro.

Can I watch offline?

Yes. Download movies, episodes or whole seasons on iPhone, iPad and Mac. Smart Downloads makes room for the next episode as you watch.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. The Yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. On iPhone and iPad, REPLAY can remind you 2 days before it ends. Cancel before it ends and you won’t be charged.

What does Lifetime include?

Every feature and every update, on every screen, for one payment.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. See the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
